However, he can still play for AHL Charlotte during the Calder Cup Playoffs if he clears waivers. Gregor finished the 2025-26 regular season with four goals, nine points and 26 PIM in 37 appearances with Florida as well as 11 goals and 17 points in 25 outings with Charlotte.

Alscher played the last four games of the regular season, earning three assists, six shots on net, four hits, six blocked shots and a plus-4 rating. While injuries opened the door for this audition, the 22-year-old defenseman looks to have some potential to challenge for an NHL job in a year or two. For now, he's likely to head back to AHL Charlotte for the minor-league team's playoff run.

Skoog notched two assists, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 8-1 win over the Red Wings.

Panthers' Cole Schwindt: Tacks on goal in win
Schwindt scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 8-1 win over the Red Wings.
Schwindt has three points over the last seven games. This was mostly a lost year due to injuries, including a broken arm and a lower-body issue. He ends the campaign with seven points, 25 shots on net, 39 hits and a plus-2 rating over 29 appearances. Schwindt is scheduled to be a Group 6 unrestricted free agent this summer, but his showing late in the year should encourage the Panthers to sign him before he tests the market.

Panthers' A.J. Greer: Pots power-play goal
Greer scored a power-play goal and added four hits in Wednesday's 8-1 win over the Red Wings.
Greer took advantage of a larger opportunity late in the season, earning four goals and four assists over his last nine outings. His tally Wednesday was just the second power-play point of his career. The winger was excellent in a depth role with 17 goals, 15 assists, 104 shots on net, 203 hits and 113 PIM across 78 appearances, which should help him easily find work if the Panthers let him walk in free agency.

Panthers' Anton Lundell: Ready for the Worlds
Lundell (ribs) has committed to play for Finland at the 2026 IIHF World Championship in Switzerland, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic on Thursday.
Lundell suffered the rib injury March 19 in Edmonton and missed the final 14 games of the regular season. He had 18 goals and 26 assists in 64 games this season, playing on the top line with the absence of Aleksander Barkov (knee) for the season. He is expected to see a middle-six role next season, and that could affect his point total.

Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk: Two helpers in season finale
Tkachuk picked up two assists in Wednesday's 8-1 win over Detroit.
The 28-year-old winger returned from a four-game absence due to the birth of his child and was essentially the only big name left in the Florida lineup for the regular-season finale, and Tkachuk chipped in with helpers on goals by Luke Kunin in the second period and Cole Reinhardt in the third. Tkachuk wraps up an injury-plagued campaign with 13 goals and 34 points in just 31 contests, but if he can stay on the ice in 2026-27 he should be one of the key members of the Panthers' offense.

Panthers' Cole Reinhardt: Two-point effort in win
Reinhardt produced a goal and an assist in Wednesday's 8-1 rout of the Red Wings.
Both points came in the third period as the Panthers coasted to victory. Reinhardt finished the regular season on a four-game goal streak and a five-game point streak, collecting five goals and seven points over that latter stretch as he took advantage of numerous absences from Florida's forward ranks. Still, the 26-year-old winger doesn't figure to be much more than a depth option in 2026-27.

Panthers' Aleksander Barkov: Playing in World Championship
Barkov (knee) will play for Finland at the 2026 IIHF World Championship in Switzerland, Chris Johnston of The Athletic reports Thursday.
Barkov missed the entire regular season after undergoing knee surgery in training camp. He has been skating since January and would have returned to the lineup at some point had Florida made it into the playoffs. He will test out his knee in May for Finland and is expected to be ready to return for the start of training camp in September, barring any setbacks.
