Semien will start at second base and bat leadoff in Tuesday's game against the Twins.

Semien is slashing only .234/.294/.312 on the season but has reached base eight times across his last four contests. The mini hot stretch has earned Semien a turn in the leadoff spot for the first time this season as the Mets try to snap an 11-game losing streak.

Julien is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.

While Julien has taken hold of the leadoff spot against right-handed pitching, the Rockies will continue to shield the left-handed batter from southpaws. Jordan Beck will replace Julien as the team's table setter Monday while lefty Justin Wrobleski toes the rubber for the Dodgers.

Dubon is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.

Jorge Mateo will receive the nod at shortstop while Dubon receives a well-deserved rest after he had started in 19 consecutive games. With a strong .299/.341/.455 slash line through 82 plate appearances on the season, Dubon should remain an everyday player for Atlanta before likely moving into a utility role once Ha-Seong Kim (finger) is ready to return from the injured list around mid-May.

Black (undisclosed) went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored Sunday in Triple-A Nashville's 4-2 loss to Worcester after being activated from the 7-day injured list.

Black missed about two weeks of action due to the undisclosed injury but picked up right where he left off upon being cleared to play, as his ninth-inning double extended his hitting streak to seven games. With three key pieces for Milwaukee on the 10-day injured list (Christian Yelich, Jackson Chourio and Andrew Vaughn), Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Sunday that Black could be an option to join the big club at some point in the near future once he gets in some more at-bats with Nashville, per Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Semien went 2-for-3 with a stolen base in Sunday's extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

The steal was Semien's first of the season. The veteran second baseman has had a sluggish start to the season, slashing .234/.294/.312 through 22 games with three doubles, a homer, three runs and eight RBI, but he could be heating up -- Semien's racked up six hits in the last four contests.

Yorke went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Rays.

Yorke's playing time has fluctuated quite a bit early this season, though he did start for the fourth time in Pittsburgh's last five games Sunday. He made his lone hit of the contest count, slugging his first home run of the campaign in the eighth inning. After a hot start to the year, Yorke has just three hits across his last 28 at-bats.

Julien went 3-for-5 with a double, three RBI and a run scored in Sunday's win over the Dodgers.

Julien had a standout day at the plate, recording his first three-hit, three-RBI effort of the campaign. Sunday snapped a cold spell, as the 26-year-old had been hitless over his previous six appearances. Julien has regularly operated as the Rockies' leadoff man against right-handed pitching in 2026, slashing .259/.355/.352 with one homer, two doubles, eight RBI, six runs and two stolen bases across 20 contests.

Ortiz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Ortiz will hit the bench for the second time in the series while Milwaukee clears a spot for Luis Rengifo on the left side of its infield. Though Ortiz offers a reliable glove at shortstop, he's provided a weak .196/.268/.196 slash line to begin the season. The lack of production at the plate looks like it could be starting to cost Ortiz some playing time.

Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

With the Rays sending a lefty (Shane McClanahan) to the bump and the teams playing a day game after Saturday's 13-inning affair, Lowe will exit the starting nine for just the third time this season. Nick Gonzales will replace Lowe at the keystone and will bat second.

Vivas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

The left-handed-hitting Vivas had started six of the Nationals' last seven games, seeing time at second base, third base and DH, but he'll hit the bench Sunday while southpaw Robbie Ray takes the hill for the Giants. With a .780 OPS through 54 plate appearances, Vivas has put himself in consideration for regular reps against right-handed pitching, but Jose Tena (.811 OPS in 36 plate appearances) is also jockeying with Vivas for the same spot in the lineup.
