Duron Harmon: Enters free agency
Harmon, set to hit free agency, recorded 16 tackles, including 1.0 sacks, two passes defensed and one interception in four regular-season games for the Browns in 2023.
Harmon was a nice November pickup for Cleveland and played key December snaps when the Browns locked up their postseason berth. The 33-year-old has tons of NFL experience, including three Super Bowl rings with the Patriots. He'll find a home in 2024 if he wants to continue playing.

Browns' Duron Harmon: Added to active roster
Harmon was signed to the Browns' active roster Wednesday.
Harmon will join Cleveland's roster ahead of their Week 15 matchup with the Bears. The safety will help fill the vacancy left in the team's secondary with both Rodney McLeod (biceps) and Grant Delpit (groin) on injured reserve. With Juan Thornhill (calf) a nonparticipant at practice Wednesday, Harmon could be thrust into a significant role in the Browns' secondary versus Chicago.

Duron Harmon: Gets let go
Harmon was waived by the Bears on Wednesday.
Harmon joined the Bears in early October when he was signed off the Ravens' practice squad. He ended up seeing action in three games, including a start against the Chargers in Week 8 and recorded a total of six tackles.

The Bears signed Harmon off of Baltimore's practice squad Tuesday.
Harmon spent the past few weeks on the Ravens' practice squad, but he'll now have a more favorable opportunity to contribute with a new team. And as long as two-time Pro Bowler Eddie Jackson remains sidelined, that chance gets even better.

Baltimore signed Harmon to the practice squad Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Harmon's signing is notable, with Marcus Williams (pectoral) likely slated for a prolonged absence. Last season, Harmon posted a career-high 86 tackles (63 solo) across 17 games with the Rams. He also had five passes defensed, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.

Harmon started all but one contest in his first season with the Raiders, and the 31-year-old's 86 tackles marked a career high. The veteran becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason, however, so he could move on from Las Vegas.

Harmon registered six tackles (five solo) and an interception, which he returned for a touchdown, during Sunday's 38-20 win over the Texans.
Harmon picked off a Davis Mills pass intended for Brevin Jordan late in the fourth quarter and returned it 73 yards for a touchdown. The pick was Harmon's second of the season, and his six tackles were good for a season high. The veteran safety will look to build off his strong performance against the Saints in Week 8.
