Alex Stumpf@AlexJStumpf18H agoThat's game. Pirates 8, Rangers 4. Braxton Ashcraft was brilliant. Jake Mangum drove in the go-ahead run in the ninth, and Oneil Cruz added the insurance with a moonshot three-run shot. The Pirates are 14-10.

Alex Stumpf@AlexJStumpf18H agoFrom Pirates PR: Cruz is one of six Pirates to have at least 22 RBIs in March/April since RBIs became an official stat in 1920. The others are Stargell (1971, 27), Xavier Nady (2008, 26), Nate McLouth (2008, 25), Jeff King (1996, 23) and Bryan Reynolds (2023, 23)
